Faults we repair on the 1787

• Turns off during play. Overheating: the thermal paste dries out and the console protects itself by shutting down.
• No picture. HDMI port or signal chip.
• No power. Internal power supply.
• Hard drive failure. Start-up errors or very slow menus.
• Disc drive faults. Not reading or not ejecting.

Good to know about this model

If it shuts down only in demanding games, it is almost certainly heat. That is a service job, not a failed console.
