Nintendo Switch Lite (HDH-001) repair

HDH-001 is the Switch Lite, the handheld-only model. Its controls are built in, which changes how the most common Switch fault is repaired.

Faults we repair on the HDH-001

• Stick drift. The sticks are inside the console, so we open it and replace the stick itself.
• Not charging. A worn USB-C port or the charging circuit.
• Cracked touch screen or damaged display. On the Lite the touch glass and the display are separate parts; we replace whichever has failed.
• Buttons not responding. Worn contacts or liquid under the buttons.
• Game cards not read. Game card reader.

Good to know about this model

Because nothing detaches, you cannot swap a faulty controller as you can on the standard Switch. Drift on a Lite always means a workshop repair.
