Console repair by model number

Two consoles with the same name can be quite different inside. The model number tells us which parts fit and which faults are likely. Find the number, then pick your console from the list.

• PlayStation On the label on the back or underside, starting CFI- (PS5) or CUH- (PS4).
• Xbox On the underside label: "Model" followed by four digits.
• Nintendo Switch In small print on the back: "MOD." followed by HAC-, HEG- or HDH-.
• Steam Deck On the back of the case: "Model 1010" or "Model 1030".
