MacBook Pro 15-inch with Touch Bar (A1990) repair

• Keys sticking, repeating or dead. The butterfly keyboard fails when dust gets under a key; the fix is a new top case.
• Swollen battery. Common at this age. The case bulges and the trackpad stops clicking.
• Overheating. Clogged fans and old thermal paste.
• No power. T2 and power-circuit faults on the logic board.
• Screen backlight. Dark bands along the bottom of the screen, or no backlight at all.
