The A3238 is the much smaller Mac mini introduced in 2024. It is recent, so we mostly see damage from spills, surges and falls from a desk.

Faults we repair on the A3238

• No power. Power or board fault, often after a surge.
• Liquid damage. Stripped, cleaned and repaired.
• Port damage. Front USB-C or rear Thunderbolt ports.
• No picture. Video output and cable checks.
• Storage fault. The storage is on a removable module in this model.

Good to know about this model

The power button is underneath, at the back corner. If the Mac seems dead, make sure it is actually being pressed before assuming a fault.
