Faults we repair on the A2438 and A2439
- Cracked screen. The glass and display are one bonded part.
- No power. The power supply is a separate brick with a magnetic plug; either that or the board inside can fail.
- Ports not working. USB-C and Thunderbolt ports on the back.
- Liquid damage. Spills that run in along the bottom edge.
- No sound or camera. Speaker and camera faults.
Good to know about this model
Bring the power brick and its cable with the iMac. On most versions the network socket is in the brick, and a fault there looks like a fault in the computer.
