Faults we repair on the Surface Pro

• Cracked screen. Glass and display replaced as one part.
• Screen lifting at one edge. A swelling battery pushing it out. Stop charging it and bring it in.
• Not charging. Surface Connect or USB-C port.
• Flickering or ghost touches. Display fault.
• Will not turn on. Battery or board fault, diagnosed on the bench.

Good to know about this model

On the Pro 8 and 9 the SSD sits under a small door on the back, so files can be rescued without opening the tablet. On the Pro 7 it is soldered.

A bench diagnostic is £54, deducted from the repair if you go ahead. You get the price before any work starts. Walk in Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm, or send an enquiry to arrange a courier collection.
