Faults we repair on the Legion 5
- Cracked hinge area. The lid or base cracks around the hinge; we repair or replace the part before the screen cable is damaged.
- Overheating. Dust-clogged fans and dried thermal paste after a couple of years of gaming.
- Not charging. Charging socket or the board behind it.
- Keyboard faults. Dead keys or backlight.
- No picture. Screen, cable or graphics fault; we test to find which.
Good to know about this model
A gaming laptop should have its cooling serviced about every two years. If the fans are louder than they used to be, it is due.
