Faults we repair on the XPS 13

• Will not charge. It charges only by USB-C, so those two ports do all the work and wear out. We replace the port or repair the charging circuit.
• Trackpad lifting or hard to click. A swelling battery pushing up from below. Stop using it and bring it in.
• Cracked screen. The glass runs almost to the edge, with little frame to protect it.
• Fan noise and heat. Cleaned, with new thermal paste.
• Liquid damage. Board-level clean and repair.

Good to know about this model

The memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded, but the SSD can. If the machine feels slow, check free space before blaming the hardware.
