Dell PowerEdge 16th generation repair
The 16th generation moved to DDR5 memory and faster NVMe storage. It is new, and what we see on it is damage and misconfiguration more than wear.

Faults we repair on the 16th generation
- Damage in transit or installation. Bent connectors, cracked risers, dropped drives.
- Memory faults. DDR5 modules that fail testing.
- Storage controller and boot faults. PERC 12 controllers and the BOSS-N1 boot card.
- Power supply faults. Replaced.
- Will not start after a firmware update. Recovered where possible.
Good to know about this model
Parts are not interchangeable with earlier generations: memory, boot cards and controllers are all different. Quote the exact model when you ask for a price.
