Faults we repair on the Gen9

• Smart Storage Battery failed. The array cache switches off and the server becomes very slow. A common, inexpensive fix.
• iLO 4 faults. Remote management that hangs, or reports its internal flash as failed.
• Failed power supply. Hot-swap supply replaced.
• Failed drive or degraded Smart Array. Drive replaced, array rebuilt.
• Fan faults. Fans replaced.

Good to know about this model

A Gen9 that has "suddenly got slow" with no other symptom has very often lost its Smart Storage Battery. Check the health summary before replacing anything else.
