MacBook screen replacement

On a modern MacBook the screen, lid and camera are one sealed assembly, so a cracked or striped display means replacing the whole lid.

What you need to know

• Cracks and black patches. From pressure on the lid or something shut inside it.
• Lines or a flickering picture. The panel or its cable has failed.
• Dim or uneven backlight. Bright spots along the bottom edge, or a backlight that fails as the lid opens.
• Before you pay. We test first to confirm the display has failed and not the logic board.
